Cardano, Milkomeda, and beyond: Octus Bridge added support for more networks

One of Everscale’s main missions is to create a hub for blockchains of other ecosystems. To achieve this, the Everscale team is focused on creating and developing strategic relationships and partnerships with other blockchains by implementing cross-chain solutions — bridges.

One such cross-chain solution is the Adaever Bridge, which was worked on by the Broxus development team, under whose guidance quite a few successful products have already been released for the Everscale network.

Adaever is one of the very few bridges that enables a connection between the Cardano and Everscale blockchains, offering a Tier 2 solution for transferring liquidity with minimal transaction fees and a high transaction completion speed from Cardano to Everscale and vice versa, without the short-term scalability issues connected to the deployment of the main Cardano network.

In addition, this goal is facilitated by the highly user-friendly and easy-to-understand cross-network decentralized exchange DEXADA, which has the native EVA token. By the way, this is also a development of Broxus.

DEXADA opened its doors in May 2022 and is now in the very early stages. Thanks to DEXADA, users have the opportunity to buy, sell, and/or trade EVER, ADA, and other virtual assets, as well as to take advantage of staking, farming pools, and arbitrage opportunities for traders.

These partnerships have also resulted in collaboration with Milkomeda, whose initial rollout took place only on Cardano. Milkomeda opens up opportunities for DEX to leverage the liquidity of multiple blockchain ecosystems from day one. This means that both users and DEXes themselves are able to access new liquidity pools and trading pairs, which certainly has a positive impact on Everscale, as it will result in some of that liquidity being locked into the network.

Milkomeda is a roll-up solution for Cardano — a fast and cost-effective way of scaling the blockchain. Its integration with Everscale and cross-chain solutions with Cardano are parts of Everscale’s roadmap that have been delivered on with the help of EverX, Broxus, and many other dev teams.

Let’s not forget about the heart of Everscale’s liquidity: Octus Bridge. This currently supports Everscale, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Fantom Opera, Polygon, Avalanche, and Milkomeda. A Solana bridge is expected to be launched in the future. As we move forward with the whole Everscale team and community, Octus Bridge is attracting more attention from other ecosystems and blockchains. There is no doubt that Everscale’s outstanding technology stack will bring huge value to the whole crypto space in the end.
