No matter how technologically advanced a blockchain may be, ultimately, user experience is paramount, and this is, in large part, determined by the interfaces and wallets available. So, it should come as no surprise that Everscale offers many different wallets to choose from. In this article, we’ll review the features and user experience for each of the main options available, so you can make an informed decision.
The large selection of cryptocurrency wallets available, with their varying functionalities, can confuse even a sophisticated user. While, at first sight, many wallets seem to only differ in design, there is a lot more happening under the hood than you might assume.
Before we continue though, we need to understand what exactly a wallet is. Put simply, when you purchase tokens or cryptocurrencies, the funds are stored on a blockchain (a distributed, decentralized ledger which is the basis of the cryptocurrency ecosystem). Wallets, on the other hand, contain important data that allow the user to access these funds, directly inside the blockchain and, if properly managed, ensure that they are stored securely.
One more thing to note before we move on to the wallet options: TIP-3.1 Tokens are an Everscale token standard describing the basic principles of using smart token contracts. In the Everscale network, the implementation of smart contracts is conceived in a universal way. As a result, all wallets and the implementation of any additional logic in general, is a smart contract, unlike many other blockchains of previous generations. Also, all interactions between smart contracts are asynchronous (unlike, for example, Ethereum), which is essential for scaling the network performance.
An important property of the Everscale network is that any actions of the network to process a smart contract burn a small number of tokens, which is a protection against abuse and DDoS attacks. As a result, it quickly becomes very expensive and unprofitable for the attacker to create a sufficiently high workload for a DDoS attack.
Now we’ve got the jargon out of the way, let’s break down which wallets you can use to store and manage EVER tokens.

Moonstake was recently established to develop a staking pool protocol to satisfy increasing demands in regional and global blockchain markets. Moonstake develops a staking pool protocol and provides business services through partners and companies.
Moonstake launched its staking business in 2020 with the aim to create the largest staking network in Asia. Since then, it has developed the most user-friendly Web Wallet and Mobile Wallet (iOS / Android) with support for over 2,000 cryptocurrencies.
Currently, Moonstake supports 14 high-demand staking coins: Cosmos, IRIS, Ontology, Harmony, Tezos, Cardano, Qtum, Polkadot, Quras, Centrality, Orbs, IOST, TRON, and Shiden.
Previously, Everscale, known as Free TON at the time, hosted a social media sharing campaign to engage their community in staking support on Moonstake. This campaign helped Free TON gain nearly 7,000 engagements and over 1,200 shares. Since then, Moonstake has been working with Everscale to support sending and receiving EVER, and has now also decided to implement staking support.

Everscale Wallet is a very popular browser based Everscale Crypto Wallet developed by the Svoi.dev team.
This wallet boasts the ability to select one of several color themes by the user, multilingualism, as well as work with the main and test Everscale networks.
One important distinguishing factor between this wallet and others is the ability to create TIP-3 tokens. As a constructor, the wallet allows you to specify the desired characteristics of the token, as well as the amount of initial mining, provide Everscale network connections to the web page for decentralized applications, and more. It also creates and transfers TIP3 interchangeable tokens (the most advanced version of the TIP-3 interchangeable token contracts).

To summarize, a distinctive feature of the following wallets is not only multicurrency, but also the ability to buy EVER right inside the application using a bank card or other currencies for further storage on the wallet. We can state that the choice of wallets depends on the initial plans and goals of holding cryptocurrency.
The choice of one or another wallet is your decision, and don’t forget you can access your funds through multiple wallet interfaces, so your choice doesn’t have to be exclusive! Please note though, it is prudent to diversify your assets for safe ownership.
We hope this guide has been useful on your journey, and please follow us to stay up to date with all the latest information you could EVER need!
